If you grew up and skated during the 80’s, anybody that was anybody knew about Powell-Peralta Skateboards and their groundbreaking, landmark videos. Producer/ director Stacy Peralta(Made in America, Riding Giants, Lords of Dogtown) asked Pipeline Digital Media to create short documenting the making of 'In Search of Animal Chin'(1987) including current interviews with the original actors and crew. Per Peralta's request, the look of the new video was to be "Organic"; "contrast lighting is good but I don't want it to look overly produced".
Director Don Hoffman of PDM and LCTV lighting cameraman Keith Martin shot the interviews using a Panasonic Varicam, Kino Flo Interview package, a few LTM Peppers and an ENG sound package.
